GD Service modules with IP input are designed to distribute multimedia and information coming from the LAN network in traditional multi-user contexts, such as the DVB-T systems of hotels, accommodation facilities, public structures and condominiums.


An IPTV input module can enrich the traditional multi-user experience on TV with new, alternative and international contents coming from Internet or local sources.


IPTV input products are compatible with most IP network standards; IP content is converted into Transport-Stream and associated to a DVB-T output, where it is assigned a value of SID, PID and LCN in addition to the generation of the network tables. The same mechanism applies to video files loaded from the module's USB port.


IPTV modules are compatible with GTE Series traditional RF transmodulators, to realize hybrid satellite/terrestrial/IPTV CATV headends.

IP INPUT

Up to 4 IP streams can be received. Allowed protocols are HTTP,HTTPS, HLS, MPEG-DASH, RTP or UDP.

USB INPUT

IPTV input modules can also transmit video files from an USB memory. Allowed formats are .ts, .mov, .mp4, .ogg, .webm and .avi.

MULTICAST

Both Multicast and unicast transmission schemes are supported.

DVB-T OUTPUT

A video and an audio PID are extracted from each IP stream and sent to one of two DVB-T MUXs.

PROGRAMMABLE MUX

Each DVB-T is programmable: LCN list, SDT, EIT, TDT and NIT tables are fully customizable.

PID REMAPPING

SID and PID are always remapped in the output MUX, allowing for simple channel list update.

DECODING

Credential access, key ciphrature and Conditional Access with CAM are supported.

EASY MANAGEMENT

IPTV modules are programmed using the GDS Manager application. This software, common to the entire range of GD Service products, simplifies system configuration and provides access to advanced administration and control functions. Remote access is available using a free Cloud service

IPTV modules are compatible with GTE Series traditional RF transmodulators, to realize hybrid satellite/terrestrial/IPTV CATV headends. All IPTV solutions are designed and produced in Italy by GD Service.
