The GD Service transmodulators with IPTV output are designed for digital terrestrial and satellite signal distribution systems in hospitality contexts of all sizes.

The use of a LAN network is useful to convey different types of services in a single distribution solution, with an important reduction in infrastructure costs. With IPTV it is possible to easily combine national and international services, both Free and Pay-TV, in standard and high definition.


Modules are equipped with 2 o 4 DVB-S/S2/S2X inputs, or 2 DVB-S/S2/S2X plus 2 DVB-T/T2 inputs; they can transmit upt to 16 IPTV SPTS Unicast or Multicast streams.


One or two Commn Interface slots are also available.


IPTV output modules can be combined with traditional GTE RF transmodulators, to realize an hybrid RF/IPTV CATV headend

DVB-S/S2/S2X AND DVB-T/T2 INPUTS

Modules are avilable with 2 or 4 DVB-S/S2 inputs or 2 DVB-S/S/S2X2 plus 2 DVB-T/T2 inputs.

Programs from any input can be associated to any output stream. Satellite inputs can receive Multistream services.

RTP AND UDP PROTOCOLS

Both RTP and UDP streams are possible. SAP server management is useful for automatic playlist generation.

MULTICAST

Multicast transmission is used to reach multiple receivers.

A point-to-point Unicast transmission is also possible.

SPTS AND MPTS STREAMS

Up to 16 independent IP streams can be generated.

Each stream can contain a single program (SPTS) or multiple programs (MPTS). Total available transmission bandwidth is 94 MBps.

PID FILTERING AND PID REMAPPING

In order to optimize bandwidth it is possible to filter wich program's PIDs add to the output. PID values are remapped in the MUX, so the channel list may be updated without having to retune the Smart-TVs in the system.

PARENTAL CONTROL

Parental control can be enforced for every output program on a single basis.

FLEX-CAM

Each CAM in a Common Interface can decode programs coming from any input.

Each CAM can decode up to 10 HD programs.

EASY MANAGEMENT

IPTV modules are programmed using the GDS Manager application. This software, common to the entire range of GD Service products, simplifies system configuration and provides access to advanced administration and control functions. Remote access is available using a free Cloud service

PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT

IPTV modules are compatible with GTE Series traditional RF transmodulators, to realize hybrid satellite/terrestrial/IPTV CATV headends. All IPTV solutions are designed and produced in Italy by GD Service.
